The Triumph Daytona 675-a middleweight sport bike, made its debut in 2006 and was a huge hit. It has held it’s place firmly in the ever-rising tide of high performance machines flooding the motorcycle market. The Triumph Daytona 675 won the coveted Motorcyclist’s Motorcycle of the Year award that first year it was released.
The 2009 Triumph Daytona 675 continues on with the perfection and award-winning engineering. The 675 is powered by a 675cc three cylinder, liquid cooled, 12 valve, DOHC engine that revs to a 13,900 rpm redline and pumps out a big 128PS.
The Daytona 675 was the first three cylinder bike in the supersports category. The combination of the light frame and narrow engine makes this bike easy to handle and very agile. The Daytona 675 won numerous comparison tests in the pst two years and also won the MasterBike and Supertest ‘King of the Supersport’ crowns. There is no motorcycle that even comes close to the power and handling of this champion.
The Daytona 675’s aluminum frame is made with open back cast spars that wrap over the top of the engine. This is the lightest frame in its class at only 19 pounds. As for the suspension, the fully adjustable 41mm upside down forks and the monoshock in the rear both have high and low speed damping controls that give you razor sharp handling, plus you can tune it to suit your style.
