Fifty years later, to celebrate Triumph Bonneville success that motorcyclists the world over embraced, the 2009 Bonneville was unveiled that offers that genuine 1970’s look that enthusiasts have loved for years.
The new Bonneville Triumph is powered by a 865cc, fuel injected, air cooled parallel twin engine that maintains that Triumph feeling and sound of raw power. The engine is retro-styled and is equipped with a fuel injection system designed for clean running. The fuel injectors are concealed by throttle bodies to look like traditional carbs.
The exhaust system is a classic ‘megaphone’ style for that sporty and racey look that was common in the 1970s. The 17 inch cast wheels ensure nimble handling and the short fenders in front and back and the narrow seat and upswept pipes, all come together for a great sporty look.
The Triumph Bonneville sports a single front 310mm disc brake and a 255mm rear, both with twin piston calipers,that give you sensitive braking and ample stopping power.
