The 2009 model boasts an all new compact engine, a shorter wheelbase and new styling to once again set the standard in the super sport class.

The Suzuki GSXR1000 sports a 999 cc, 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, liquid cooled DOHC engine that is fuel injected and very powerful. The 6 speed transmission provides smooth and powerful acceleration and you can hit a top speed of 190 mph with this motorcycle.

The super-stylish GSXR1000 weighs 448 pounds. Suzuki has moved to a BPF (big piston fork) design to reduce the weight.

The Suzuki GSXR1000 is super-responsive, yet an nimble and easy ride with instant power. You have the choice between three different power setting at the flick of a switch so you’ll get the right amount of power for the road conditions. The twin pipes give you greater balance and a low center of gravity with the GSXR1000. This baby hugs the road and the road seems to rise up to meet this incredible machine.
