Harley-Davidson VRSC V-Rod
The first Harley-Davidson VSCR (V-Twin Racing Street Custom) was unveiled in 2001 and was called the V-Rod. It is Harley-Davidson’s first “Power Cruiser” and Harley worked with Porsche to develop the Revolution engine that incorporates liquid cooling, overhead cams and fuel injection.
The V-Rod has a 60 degree V-Twin engine and the fuel tank on the V-Rod is under the seat, while the other models have the fuel tank in front of the rider seat.
The 2009 VRSC V-Rod is packed with torque and has an ultra fat 240mm rear tire. Seeing this powerful motorcycle for the first time will make you eager with anticipation. There is no other motorcycle made today that has the distinguished, hot rod looks of the Harley Davidson VRSC V-Rod.
Powering this masterpiece, is a two-tone silver and charcoal powder-coated, 1250cc liquid cooled, rubber mounted Revolution V-twin engine. It’s covered in chrome and pumps out an inspiring 84.0 ft. lbs. at 7000 rpm.
Your eyes are immediately drawn to the super cool chrome slash-cut exhaust system with dual mufflers that are curved and tapered at the ends.
The low profile rear fender is a clean design that captures all the attitude that Harley-Davidson is famous for.
